Plastic milk caps + heat tool + silicone mold = 3D embellishment

DO NOT TOUCH HOT PLASTIC

I removed the number 2 plastic caps and spouts from my paper milk cartons before recycling and collected any pop bottle caps I came across (although those should be left ON for recycling), shredded them using ordinary scissors, and then used my craft heat tool to melt the shreds in a silicone mold. Number 2 plastic melts at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius with no fumes.
