I started by stamping and die cutting all the pieces, then loosely watercoloring using Distress ink and shimmer watercolor. I layered the Ideology cardstock base page with colored tissue, then vellum, then the flowers and a swallow from Tim Holtz Love You (a vintage Sizzix stamp/die set.)
